Joan Hendrick Obituary
Mrs. Joan Joyce Hendrick, age 77, of Cass City, passed away Mon., Aug. 20, 2012 at McLaren Oakland Hospital, Pontiac.
She was born May 25, 1935 in Columbia Township, the daughter of the late Leslie and Elva (Robarts) Dillon. On March 1, 1977 she married Thomas Hendrick in cass City. She enjoyed fishing, puzzles, playing cards, talking on the phone and time with her family.
Joan is survived by her husband, Thomas, children, Doris (Marty) LeValley of Cass City, Cathy Jo (Steve) Cherrington of AZ and Mark Atkin of Gagetown, 5 grandchildren, Greg, Mark, Stacy, Christopher and Michelle, two great grandchildren, Gabriel and Braylon, and a sister, Jane Kamrad of Frankenmuth. She was predeceased by a son, Scott Atkin, 4 brothers, Bernard Dillon, Leonard Dillon, Gerald Dillon and Richard Dillon.
Visitation is Wed., August 22, 2012 from 2 pm until 8 PM, with 7 PM prayers. Instate Thurs., Aug. 23, 2012 from 10 until an 11 AM Mass at St. Pancratius Catholic Church, 4292 Seeger St., Cass City. Fr. Paul Bala officiating. Burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery.
