Joan G. Parsons

Mrs. Joan G. Parsons, age 71, of Cass City, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Select Specialty Hospital, Saginaw.

Joan was born September 20, 1935 in Flint, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Glorian (Fairman) Stalker. On January 22, 1955 she married Bernard Parsons in Detroit. Joan was a homemaker who loved to cook, collect Santa bears and china, she enjoyed playing cards and bingo, but most importantly of all she loved spending time with her family.

Joan is survived by her husband, Bernard, children, Gloria Little, Denise Cooper, Bernie Parsons, Mary (Pete) Arthur, Mathew (Julie) Parsons, Steven Parsons, Patrice (John) Arthur and David (Shanna) Parsons, grandchildren, Rena, Charles, Allen, Bryan, Chene, Chris, Desiree, Cassi, Ritchie, Amanda, Bernie, Aaron, Brandon, Jennifer, Steven, Michelle, Mathew, Leah, Nolan, Michael, Ashlee, Justin, Autumn, Mic, and Kaitlyn and 17 great grandchildren, siblings, Larry, Don, Bobby and Darlene. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Linda Sue Baker.

At Joan's request cremation has taken place and a private family Memorial Service has been held.
