Mr. John Anthony Broecker, age 56, of Langdon, ND, formerly of Decker, passed away suddenly, Thurs., June 20, 2013, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolia, MN.
He was born Sept. 28, 1956 in Lapeer, the son of the late Arnold and Rachel (Muir) Broecker. John enjoyed farming, growing grapes and making wine and time with family and friends. John is survived by his mother, Rachel Broecker, 2 brothers, Carl (Loretta) Broecker and Robert Broecker, 2 sisters, Deb (Dave Hall) Broecker and Barb (Alan) Rogers, 2 nephews, Joe Broecker and Jason Rogers, 2 nieces, Charisia (Aaron) Loeffler and Melissa Broecker, 2 great nephews, Elijah and Ethen Leoffler, 1 great niece Alana Loeffler and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father and grandparents.
Memorial visitation will be Friday, Aug. 2, 2013 from 10 AM until an 11 AM service at Shabbona United Methodist Church, 4455 Decker Rd., Decker. Pastor Pamela Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
