Joseph Donovan Obituary
Mr. Joseph Eugene Donovan, age 35, of Gagetown and Caro, passed away Sat., July 6, 2013 at his home in Gagetown.
Joe was born Feb. 18, 1978 in Saginaw, the son of Eugene and Antonina (Gajor) Donovan. He worked as a chef doing both catering and working in restaurants and as an elevator mechanic, Joe also enjoyed hiking, camping, animals, basically anything to do with nature.
He is survived by his partner in life, his fiance, Sara Kady, his mother, Antonina Donovan of Gagetown, siblings, Sue Donovan of Utica, Nancy (Bill) Donovan-Barbour of Sterling Heights, Charles (Sandy) Donovan of IL, Jeanne (Joe) Donovan-Adams of Coleman, Ward (Debbie) Donovan of Caro, Jim (JoLynne) Stewart of WI, and Sheila (Randy) Czapla of Deford, along with many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. Joe was predeceased by his father, 2 uncles and 4 aunts.
Honoring Joe's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be Sat., July 13, 2013 from 11 AM until 1 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Burial will be in Ellington Township Cemetery.
