Mr. Kenneth Robert Harris, age 54, of Cass City, MI passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at his home.
Ken was born March 5, 1956 in Sandusky, MI the son of the late Donald and Delores (Irving) Harris. Ken married Ruth Zmierski on February 16, 1992 in Sault Sainte Marie, MI. He worked over 30 years on Great Lakes Freighters and 10 years at Hills and Dales Hospital.
Ken is survived by his wife, Ruth, son, Cason (Kristy) Harris of Florida, his mother, Delores Harris of Palms, MI step-children, Denise (Bert) Sutherland of Argyle, MI John (Tamara) Zmierski of Caledonia, MI and Marla (Dennis) Steely of Cass City, MI a brother Brad (Geraldine) Harris of Sandusky, and 10 step grandchildren.
Visiting will be Friday, September 17, 2010 from 11 AM until a 2 PM service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City, MI. Brother Sam Combs will officiate. Burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Bible Fellowship or Home and Hospice Advantage.
