LaVerne Gerow Obituary
Mr. LaVerne Lyle Gerow, age 91, of Snover passed away, Monday, November 4, 2013 at United Hospice Residence, Marlette, after a long illness.
He was born July 25, 1922 in Sparta, the son of the late Guy and Edith (Abernathy) Gerow. On September 30, 1978 he married the former Margaret Schultz in Mt. Clemens. Verne served in the U S Navy during WWII and in the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He worked for 30 years at the Chrysler Warren Stamping Plant.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, daughters, Evelyn (Jack) Lopo of Greenbush, Maureen (John)Bush of Sterling Heights and Janet (Roy) Long of Sterling Heights, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a brother, Kenneth Gerow of both Chesterfield and Dexter.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time.
