Mr. Leo P. Leszczynski, age 88, of Bay City, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Bay Medical Center, Bay City.
He was born April 6, 1917 in Detroit, MI the son of the late Stanley and Lillian (Gorecki) Leszczynski. On June 8, 1946 he married Helen Paluch in Detroit, MI. Leo served in the U. S. Army during WW II, he worked as a bus driver for DSR in Detroit, and enjoyed fishing and golfing.
He is survived by his wife, Helen, children, Leona (James) Guereux of Farmington Hills, Louise Laine of Howell, Lorraine Hunter of Birmingham and Leon (Denise) Leszczynski of Bay City, 7 grandchildren, siblings, Stella Leszczynski of Cass City, Richard Otulakowski of St. Clair, Eugene (the late Adveda) Otulakowski of Marlette, Stanley (Barbara) Otulakowski of Snover, Patricia (Joseph) Walsh of Ubly and Lillian (Evans) Gibbard of Ubly and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting is Sunday, November 13, 2005 from 1 until 9 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City and on Monday, November 14, 2005 from 9:30 until an 11 AM Mass at St. Pancratius Catholic Church, 4292 S. Seeger St., Cass City with Rev. Fr. Steve Fillion officiating. Burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery.
