Lisa Deering Obituary
Mrs. Lisa Ann Deering, age 47, of Deford, passed
away, Mon., April 4, 2016 at her home, surrounded
by her family.
Lisa was born Oct. 8, 1968 in Pontiac, the daughter
of Kenneth, Sr. and Marilyn (Johnson) Garwood. She
married Rodney Deering in Marlette on Dec. 28, 2001.
She worked doing housecleaning for many years, she
loved to explore, go camping, travel, time with family
and friends, and was very involved at Deford Community
Church.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Rod, children,
Foster Maggard,III, Kylie Maggard, Vanessa Deering and Rodney
Deering, II, granddaughter, Eloise, two sisters, Susan (Bill) Jennings of Davisburg and Angela LaFleche of Alpena and a
brother, Kenneth (Shelly Derenzy) Garwood, Jr. of East Jordan
and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be at Deford Community Church, 1392 N. Kingston
Rd., Deford, Fri., April 8, 2016 from 4 until 8 PM and Sat.,
April 9, 2016 from 10 until and 11 AM service. Pastor David
Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Novesta Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Deford Christian Academy.
