Lucille F. Gallaway

Mrs. Lucille Frances Gallaway, age 83, of Cass City, MI, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2006 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Katie Gallaway, in Canadian Lakes, MI.

Lucille was born July 28, 1923 in Cass City, the daughter of the late Clement and Goldie (Ward) Tyo. On February 6, 1946 she married George Gallaway in Caro, MI. George passed away August 13, 2005. She was an active member of Cass City United Methodist Church for over 30 years, she was a youth leader in the Methodist Youth Fellowship and loved spending time with her family.

Lucille is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Katie Gallaway, grandchildren, Brett (Michelle) Gallaway of Dallas, TX and Heidi Leal of Denton, TX, and great grandchildren, Austin, Baylee and Alexis. She was pre-deceased by her brother and sisters, Forrest, Alex, Mary Lee, Rosella and Pauline.

Visiting is Friday, September 29 from 2 until 5 and 7 until 9 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City, and on Saturday, September 30 from 10 until an 11 AM service at Cass City United Methodist Church, 5100 N. Cemetery, Cass City with Pastor Paul Donelson officiating. Burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery.
