Luis Arroyo Obituary
Mr. Luis Arroyo, age 87, of Bay City, formerly of Cass City, passed away on Wed., Sept. 21, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region, Bay City, with family by his side.
Luis was born March 6, 1935 in Ciaeles, Puerto Rico, son of the late Emiliano and Petra (Salgado) Arroyo. He worked for Eaton/Grede Foundry in Vassar, was self-employed doing autobody repair work. He loved baseball, especially the Detroit Tigers, but most of all, he loved time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids.
Luis is survived by his children, Gloria (Brad) Groth of South Dakota, Lori (Daryle) Meyer of Bay City, Becky Arroyo of Florida and Linda Devine of Cass City, grandchildren, Cheyenne, Carey, Jarod, Andrew, Adrianna and Abigail, great grandchildren, Devon, Clayton Luis, Charlie, Cliff and Oreius, and sisters, Mercedes Rivera and Maria Arroyo, both of Florida. He was predeceased by his son, Luis Arroyo and daughter, Lisa Arroyo, brothers, Jose, Miguel and Emiliano and sisters, Gloria and Lula.
Honoring Luis’ wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service and burial will take place sometime in the spring of 2023.
