Lynwood LaPeer Obituary
Mr. Lynwood G. LaPeer, age 72, of Cass City, passed away Fri., Jan. 21, 2011 at Covenant Healthcare - Harrison, Saginaw.
Lynwood was born Aug. 23, 1938 in Cass City, the son of the late Gaylord and Charlotte (Fay) LaPeer. He married Jeanette Neal on July 14, 1956 in Cass City. Lynwood worked as a Journeyman Carpenter, as a Bus Driver for Cass City Public Schools and owned LaPeer Lawn Service for over 30 years. He loved time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Lynwood is survived by his loving wife of over 54 years, Jeanette, children, Daryl (Eva) LaPeer of NH, Sheree LaPeer of NH and Shelley (Michael) Wiederhold of Caro, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Randy LaPeer and a sister, Charlene (the late Steve) Timmons.
Memorial Visitation is Sun., Jan. 23, from 2 until 5 and 7 until 9 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City and on Mon., Jan. 24, at Novesta Church of Christ, 2896 Cemetery Rd., Cass City, from 12 Noon until a 1 PM memorial service. Rev. Michele Hile officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to VNA Hospice - Covenant Healthcare, 500 S. Hamilton, Saginaw 48602.
