Margaret Ann Cox, age 90, was born December 22, 1934 to the late Ralph and Vivian (Sowder) Cox in Perry County, Kentucky.
She entered the Foster Care Home of Maurice and Dorothy Taylor in 1971 after their passing, she continued living with Jeri Linderman. Margaret was a radiant spirit known for her wit and beauty, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Maggie brought laughter and joy to everyone she met. She could brighten the gloomiest of days. She was a woman of grace, kindness and wisdom. Maggie lived her life with warmth and generosity, always finding ways to uplift others. Maggie loved her family, friends, church family, cooking and watching Heartland. Her presence was a gift, her laughter a treasure.
Maggie is survived by her extended family, Georgina (Gina) Goldspink and Jeri Linderman. She was proceeded in death by her parents and Maurice and Dorothy Taylor. A celebration of Maggie’s life will be held at Deford Community Church. 1392 Kingston Rd, Deford, July 26, 2025 at 1 PM with a meal to follow. Pastor David Cooper will officiate. Friends and loved ones are invited to come share memories and honor the remarkable woman who brought much joy into our lives. Her light will continue to shine in all the hearts that knew her.
