Marjorie Murdick Obituary
Mrs. Marjorie E. Murdick, age 84, of Snover, passed away, Tue., March 31, 2015 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison, Saginaw.
Marjorie was born May 14, 1930 in Port Huron, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Pearl (Gamble) Gilbert. She married James "Jock" Murdick in Port Huron on Sept. 18, 1948. He passed away in Oct. 2000.
She loved watching old movies on TV, collecting cameras and taking pictures, going to church, traveling, reading the newspapers on Wed. and yelling at the cats to get them out of her house.
Marjorie is survived by son, John (Debra) Murdick, daughters, JoAnn (Will) Guenette and Janet Hoyt, all of Snover, daughter-in-law, Linda Murdick of Cass City, sister-in-laws, Lillian Gilbert of Carsonville, Donna Gilbert of Port Huron, and brother-in-laws, Jerry (Lillian) Murdick of Detour and Ken (Gladys) Murdick of RI, 15 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son James "Junior" Murdick and 13 brothers and sisters.
Visiting will be Thurs., April 2, 2015 from 4 until 9 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City and on Fri., April 3, 2015 from 10 until an 11 AM service at Shabbona Community of Christ, Shabbonna. Elder Judy Doerr officiating.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Murdick will be her grandsons, John Murdick, Joram Tyson, Jareth Tyson, Josuha Tyson, James Hoyt, Jessup Hoyt and Jeramiah Hoyt.
Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery.
