Marjorie Nicol Obituary

Mrs. Marjorie Marie Nicol, age 83, of Caro, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Covenant Healthcare - Harrison, Saginaw.

She was born June 6, 1926 in Mayville, the daughter of the late Elray and Hazel (Bennett) Gilmore. Marjorie married Roy Dean Nicol, March 25, 1950 in Dayton Twp. He passed away January 10, 1993. Marjorie was a member of the Deford Missionary Group, was a homemaker and enjoyed time with her family.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Cheryl (Robert) Echlin of Caro, Suzanne (Michael) Bursick of Essexville, Thomas Nicol and Ken (Sandy) Nicol, both of Caro, Beth (Gary) Hoist of Carsonville, Jim (Jeanne) Nicol of Cass City, Brian (Alyssa) Nicol of Yale and Richard Nicol of Silverwood, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, a brother, Elroy (Dorothy) Gilmore of Silverwood. She was predeceased by a son, Robert (Kay) Nicol and a sister, Donna (Ken) Frenzel.

Visiting is Tuesday, June 1, from 4 until 9 PM at Deford Community Church, 1392 Kingston Rd., Deford and on Wednesday, June 2, from 12 noon until an 1 PM service. Pastor David Cooper officiating. Memorials may be made to Deford Community Church. Burial is in Dayton Center Cemetery, Dayton Township.
