Mark Clair Tuckey, age 67, of Cass City, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at his home.
Mark was born May 19, 1938 in Cass City, son of the late Clair and Florence (Wanner) Tuckey. He married Carol Vasbinder Gardner June 7, 1986 in Marlette. Mark was a lifelong member of the Cass City Missionary Church, he worked for Marlette Homes for 20 years, was self-employed as a carpenter,liked gardening and volunteered at the Brown City Camp.
Mark is survived by his wife, Carol, children, LTC Timothy (Reba)Tuckey of Japan, Terry (Diane) of Cass City, Leslie (Bonnie)Tuckey of South Lyon, Fred (Gail)Tuckey of Cass City, Beth (Eric) Haglund of Howell, Kurt (Ann)Tuckey of Cass City, Matt (Michelle)Tuckey of Bad Axe and Major Dr. Dan (Andrea)Tuckey of GA, step-children, Tim (Tricia) Gardner of Grand Haven and Kathrine (Doug) Kruse of Cass City, 32 grandchildren, siblings, James (Wanda)Tuckey of Cass City, Ruth (Joseph) VanAcker of Cass City, Betty (Fred) Caudell of Davision and Esther (Jerry) Freed of OR.
Visiting is Thursday, January 12, from 5 - 8 PM, Friday, January 13 from 1-3 and 5 - 8 PM, and Saturday, January 14, from 9 - 10 AM time of service at Cass Missionary Church, 4449 Koepfgen Rd., Cass City, with Pastor Robert Sweeney officiating. Burial is in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Brown City Camp.
