Mrs. Mary B. Holcomb, age 92, of Deford, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2007 at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital, Saginaw.
Mary was born April 16, 1915 in Fayette, MO the daughter of the late William and Pearl (Mullins) Tyler. She married Gordon Holcomb on February 24, 1945 in Detroit. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing, canning and baking, was a avid 4H leader, taught Sunday school and was a member of Novesta Church of Christ, and loved time with her family.
Mary is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gordon, children, Sandra Miller of Oxford, Franklin Holcomb and Patricia (Alan) Peters, both of Deford, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, Sisters, Glenna Nesbitt and Dorma Lee Bleu, both of MO. She was predeceased by brothers, Clayton Tyler, Kermit, Herbert and Harold Patton and a sister, Bertha Fenters. Visiting is Tuesday, December 11, from 7 until 9 PM and Wednesday, December 12, from 2 until 5 and 7 until 9 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City and Thursday, December 13 from 10 until an 11 AM service at Novesta Church of Christ, 2896 Cemetery Rd., Cass City, Chuck Emmert officiating. Burial will be in Novesta Township Cemetery. Memorials are to the discretion of the donor.
