Mary Horne Obituary
Mrs. Mary E. Horne, age 87, of Cass City, passed away,
Sat., Feb. 28, 2015 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper,
Saginaw.
Mary was born Nov. 24, 1927 in Port Huron, the daughter
of the late John and Elizabeth (Rowbotham) Rock. She
married Alfred Horne in Port Huron on May 18, 1946. She
enjoyed boating, making hook rugs, cooking, the outdoors
in the summer and time with family, especially her
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Alfred, children, Marie (Larry) Groombridge of Traverse City, Randy (Marie) Horne, Donald (Robin) Horne, Allan (Jenny) Horne,
Michael (Danielle) Horne and Robert (Penny) Horne, all of
Cass City, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, Frederick Horne and Curt Horne.
Visiting will be Mon., March 2, 2015 from 2 until 8 PM and Tues., March 3, 2015 from 12 noon until a 1 PM service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Pastor Brad Speirs officiating. Burial will be in the spring in Novesta Township Cemetery.
