Matthew Wasserman Obituary
Mr. Matthew J. Wasserman, age 66, of Cass City, passed away Wed., Sept. 26, 2018 as the result of
an automobile accident.
He was born Nov. 18, 1951, in Cass City, the son of the late Matthew and Josephine (Werygen)
Wasserman. On Feb. 26, 1977 he married Valerie Best. Matthew worked for at Active Homes, retiring
after many years, then as a motorcycle mechanic for the Honda dealer in Bad Axe, he enjoyed gardening
and was a jack of all trades, basically doing any kind of work with his hands.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Valerie, children, Matthew J Wasserman, III, Christopher (Karen)
Wasserman and Mary Ann Wasserman, all of Cass City, grandchildren, Syndaraz, Zadrien, Chelsea, Mary Ellen,
Christopher, Jr. and Jaxon and great granddaughter, Macianna, and a brother, Lawrence Wasserman of Cass City.
Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 7, 2018 from 4 until 8 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City, with a
Rosary at 7 PM and Sat., Dec. 8, 2018 from 10 until an 11 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church, St. Christopher
Parish, 910 W. Frank St., Caro. Fr. Jerzy Dobosz as celebrant.
Burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery.
