Maureen Janice Gooding, age 73, of Alanta, MI, passed away August 31, 2011 at her daughter's home.
She was born January 9, 1938 in Clarkston, MI, the daughter of the late Emory and Dorothy (McGrath) Clark. She was T.O.P.S. member, and enjoyed doing puzzles and knitting.
Maureen is survived by her children, Kenneth (Norma) McKenzie of Warren and Penny (Daniel) Jones of Kingston, siblings, Steiner Clark, Max Clark, Bill Clark, Ed Clark, Betty Squires, Pauline Moran, Louise McKellar and Alice Dean, grandchildren, Diane Dellanno, Joy Dise and Tom McKenzie and a great grandchild, Dani Dise. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Herbert Mckenzie, and siblings, JoAnn Stoltenberg and Bob Clark.
Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Briley Township Cemetery, Atlanta, MI.
