Maxine Kennedy Obituary

Mrs. Maxine Kennedy, age 82, of Cass City, passed away Wed., Oct. 20, 2010 at St. Mary's of Michigan, Saginaw.

Maxine was born Oct. 1, 1928 in Morley, MI. She married Emerson Kennedy on April 10, 1947 in Bad Axe. Maxine enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, genealogy and reading and loved time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Emerson, children, Bonnie (Ken) Petee of Swartz Creek, Kenneth Kennedy of Cass City and Luann (Juan Carlos) De la Sotta of Marlette, 4 grandchildren, Mark Petee, Carl (Sara) Petee, Sandra (Matt) Jennings and Jay De la Sotta, 4 great grandchildren, and siblings, Betty (Gus) Dummeldinger of Bay City, Ron (Genny) Gracey of Bad Axe, Philip (Nell) Curtiss of Gaylord, Madonna Anton of Williamston and Doug (Ruth) Browers of Benton Harbor.

Memorial visiting will be Sat., Nov. 13, 2010 from 12 noon until a 1 PM memorial service at VFW Post 3644, 4533 Veterans Dr., Cass City. Pastor J. T. Mabe will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lutheran Child and Family Services of Michigan or VFW Post 3644.
