Millie Caroline Mark

Mrs. Millie Caroline Mark, age 83, of Cass City, MI passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at United Hospice Service at Marlette Regional Hospital with her family at her side.

Millie was born April 7, 1923 in Novesta Township, the daughter of the late Elisha and Estella Maude (Gage) Randall. In March of 1940 she married Leitch Alvin Mark. He passed away February 1, 1977. She worked in housekeeping at Hills & Dales Hospital for 17 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of the Kendron Chapter #33 O.E.S., Caro, the Canasta Club, Cass City, and a member of the United Methodist Women, she loved music, dancing and traveling.

Millie is survived by her children, Jane (Keith) Mitchell of Cass City, Kay (Terry) Sontag of CO, Susan (James) Krausenek of Saginaw, Linda McLaren of Bay City and Edward Mark, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Christine (Duane) Hickey and sisters, Helen Agar, Viola Roberts and Leona Harrington. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 11 AM at Cass City United Methodist Church, 5100 N. Cemetery, Cass City, with visiting starting at 10 AM, Pastor Paul Donelson will officiate. Burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery.
