Nancy Walters Obituary
Nancy A. Walters, age 79, of Gagetown, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at her home.
She was born August 22, 1941, in Detroit, to the late Russell and Carolyn (Sprankle) Hynes. She worked at Hills and Dales General Hospital, Cass City in Dietary, retiring in 2009. Nancy enjoyed going to casinos, reading and almost anything outdoors, but most all loved time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by children, Deb (Mike) Zmierski of Cass City and Bob (Juli) Walters of Unionville, 5 grandchildren, Melissa (Randy) Burghdoff, Michael (Mindy) Zmierski, II, Jennifer (Steve) Steely, Emma Walters, Ethan Walters, Paige Prime and Jade Prime, 3 great grandchildren, Ben Burghdoff, Lilli Steely and Paul Steely, and two sisters, Pat (Ray) Dickinson of Livonia and Joyce (Paul) Tabor of Wayne. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Russ (the late Marilyn) Hynes and Kenneth (Ginger) Hynes.
Honoring Nancy’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private committal service and burial was in Elkland Township Cemetery.
