Oliver Myers Obituary

Mr. Oliver Q. Myers, age 83, of Gagetown, formerly of Naples. FL, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Hill and Dales General Hospital, Cass City.

He was born March 11, 1929 in Harrison, MI, the son of the late William George and Euna (Johnson) Myers. He married Juanita Bourland on December 23, 1949. She passed away December 27, 1997. Oliver served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the Harrison, MI VFW. He was a union representative with General Motors, then worked in property management at a condominium complex in Naples, FL.

He is survived by his children, Brenda Roach of Gagetown, Sandra Hennessey of Gagetown, Larry Myers of Naples, FL and Gary Myers of Gagetown, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Greg Myers and Charlie Myers.

Honoring Oliver's wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be at 11:30 AM Saturday, March 31 in Elmwood Township Cemetery - Hillside. Honor service by members of the Cass City VFW and members of the U S Army.
