Oscar William Sims Obituary

Mr. Oscar William Sims, age 67, of Cass City,
passed away suddenly, Sunday, March 20, 2016 at
his home.

Oscar was born November 21, 1948 in Thomaston,
GA the son of the late Jessie and Hazel (Smith)
Sims. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam
War and worked as an assembler for General Motors,
he enjoyed fishing, hunting, mud bugging, watching
wrestling and NASCAR.

Oscar is survived by his children,
Irene Elliott of Flint, Dana Haslett of Mt. Morris,
Samantha Sims, Annie Dering, Rosalee Sims and Gerry Sims,
all of TX, his fiancee, Beverly Pedrin, his step-mother, Gloria
(Clayton) Wilber of Onaway, step-children, Lisa Fogelsanger
of TN, Jamie Lynn Pedrin of KY, Daniel Scott Pedrin of Cass
City and Jay Pedrin of TN, 10 grandchildren and another due
in August. He was predeceased by 2 sisters, Peggy Jo Rogers
and Frances Nelson.

Honoring Oscar's wishes, cremation has taken place and no
services are planned at this time. Burial was in the Great Lakes National


Cemetery, Holly, MI.
