Patricia Brooks Obituary

Mrs. Patricia Brooks, age 78, of Cass City, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012, at Covenant Healthcare - Cooper, Saginaw.

She was born July 19, 1933 in Evergreen Township, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Alama (Rogers) Decker. On October 15, 1955 she married Oscar Brooks in Cass City. Patricia worked at the Ben Franklin store in Cass City, was a member of the Cass City VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a Cub Scout Den Mother. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and most of all time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of over 56 years, Oscar, her children, David (Linda) Brooks of IN, Wayne Brooks of Grand Rapids, Lorraine Brooks of Cass City, Brent (Joy) Brooks of West Branch and Sally (Dave) Alban of Galesburg, grandchildren, Jessica, Julie, Evan, Seth and John, and one great grandson, Gavin, and 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, June 2, 2012 at First Baptist Church, 6420 Houghton St., Cass City. Visiting will begin at 10 AM. Pastor David Hill will officiate. Burial will be in Novesta Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Cass City VFW Post 3644 or Rawson Memorial Library.
