Rachel Broecker Obituary
Mrs. Rachel Broecker, age 92, of Decker, passed away on Wed., May 3, 2023 at United Hospice Residence of Marlette.
She was born Feb. 5, 1931, in Almont, to the late Thomas and Harriet (Wilson) Muir. Rachel married Arnold Broecker, Nov. 6, 1954 in Almont. He passed away Dec. 23, 1990. She worked as a Surgical Nurse at Lapeer General (McLaren Lapeer Region) and as a farmer.
She is survived by her children, Carl (Loretta) Broecker, Robert Broecker, Deborah (Dave Hall) Broecker and Barbara (Alan) Rogers and four brothers, Thomas Muir, Robert Muir, Max Muir and Richard Muir. She was predeceased by her son, John Broecker.
Honoring Rachel's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned that this time.
