Mr. Ralph C. Ball, age 89, of Cass City, and spent winters in Lakeland, FL, passed away Sat., June 2, 2012, at United Hospice Residence, Marlette surrounded by his family.
He was born Nov. 22, 1922 in Cass City, MI the son of the late Henry and Vinora (Highlan) Ball. He married Winnifred Sugden on June 21, 1943 in Cass City. Ralph served in the U S Navy, he worked as an Independent Truck Driver for many years, he was very active, he enjoyed bowling, playing cards, especially loved time with his family.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 68 years, Winnifred, children, Judy (Bob Hall) Phillips of Sandusky, Roger (Pat Coryell) Ball of Seattle, WA, Ariane (Frank) Billot of Snover and Colleen (Ben) DeBolt of Bay City, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a sister, Dorothy Baerwolf of Sandusky. He was predeceased by two grandsons, Sean and Tony Ball and two brothers, Millard Ball and Ron Ferguson.
Visiting is Mon., June 4, 2012 from 2 until 5 and 6 until 8 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Cremation will follow, then burial will take place at 11:00 AM, Wed., June 6, 2012 with a service at Elkland Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to United Hospice Residence, Marlette.
