Mr. Richard J. Cilk, age 75, of Cass City, passed away, Thursday, June 10, 2021 at his home.
He was born February 22, 1946, in Marlette, the son of the late William and Lorna (Redman) Cilk. Richard married Mona Helms-Wilson, October 20, 1989 in Bay Port. He worked as a self-employed autobody repairman and was very artistic in doing fiberglass fabrication. He enjoyed family cookouts and especially loved time with his grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Mona, children, Mike (Sandy) Wilson, Teri (James) Stimpfel and Douglas (Monica) Wilson, all of Cass City, grandchildren, Ashley Wilson, Dustin (Alyssa) Wilson, Dakota Wilson, Hope Wilson, Kate Stimpfel, Kenneth Stimpfel, Brayden Wilson and Kristin Stimpfel, step grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jimmy Alter) Medere, Gavin Medere and Nolan Medere, a step great grandchild, Adeline Alter, a brother, Robert Cilk, a sister-in-law, Shirley Cilk and many loving nieces and nephews, especially, Dylan Helms and Rachel Deming. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, William Cilk, II.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
Memorials may be made to McLaren Hospice or directed to the family.
