Mr. Richard Jay Fisher, Jr., age 63, of Deford, passed away, Wed., Dec. 4, 2024, at his residence with his family at his side.
He was born Sept. 4, 1961, in Saginaw, son of the late Richard Jay, Sr. and Janet Ethel (Thompson) Fisher. Richard married Stacey Sharrard on April 4, 2021 in Tennessee. He worked for many years as a mechanic at Penske Truck Leasing and then at Walbro. He liked long drives, especially to the U.P., the mountains in Tennessee and camping, and really enjoyed the water, swimming, kayaking and float down. Most of all he loved time with his family.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Stacey, children, Richard Jay Fisher, III and Zachary (Ashley) Fisher both of Vassar, Keerey (Gage Parkinson) Putnam of Kingston and step-son Jason (Audrey Webster) Sharrard of Deford, 7 grandchildren, sister, Jeanne Zarko of TN and mother in law, Rita (the late Stephen) Slater of SC.
Honoring Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place.
