Ricky Ray Neal

Ricky Ray Neal, age 67, of Caro, died Thurs., Feb. 2, 2023, while on life support in the intensive care unit of Covenant Hospital.

He was born Jan. 28, 1956 in Adrian, to the late Buford and Rosemary (Guies) Neal. On July 20, 1975 he married Ruth Dunn. Ricky had many great accomplishments in his life. When he was 19, he was the youngest service manager of Goodyear service stores ever. After that he was a master mechanic & HiLo driver at Tower Automotive in Sebewaing for 18 years. After that shop closed down, he then was a driver for All Star Vending Services for 10 years and was employee of the month at one point, then open heart surgery forced him to be on disability. His hobbies included yardwork, fishing, hunting and playing pool, where he could clear an entire table with one shot. But most of all he loved spending holidays with his kids and family.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 47 years, Ruth, son, Joshua Neal of Cass City, daughter, Racheal Neal of Caro, granddaughters, Lexy Lee Neal of Lansing and Rylee Kay Neal of Arizona. Ricky was predeceased by his brother, Larry Neal of Texas.

Memorial visitation will be Sat., April 29, 2023 at 10 AM at Novesta Church of Christ, 2896 Cemetery Rd., Cass City. Celebration of his life will be at 11 AM, Brad Speirs, officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church’s fellowship hall.
