Robert Spencer Obituary
Mr. Robert Lee Spencer, age 69, of Caro, formerly of Cass City, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at St. Mary's of Michigan, Saginaw.
He was born December 15, 1941 in Cass City, the son of Orton and Marie (Herron) Spencer. Robert served in the U S Army, and worked as a truck driver in various positions, including the Sanilac County Road Commission. He enjoyed keeping up his old Dodge van, old westerns, the History Channel and stories of his childhood and especially taking care of his mother and her home.
Robert is survived by his mother, Marie Deneen of Cass City, his sister, Judy (Don) Lawson of Gladwin, special friend, Donna Jean Schember of Caro and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Orton.
Cremation has taken place and burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
