Roger Ball Obituary
Mr. Roger C. Ball, age 70, of Sandusky and Lakeland. FL, passed away Saturday,
October 6, 2018 at Martinez Retirement Home, Sandusky after a long illness.
He was born September 21, 1948, in Cass City, the son of the late Ralph and
Winnifred (Sugden) Ball. Roger was a loving family man and had worked as both
an independent and commercial truck driver, a large engine mechanic and a draftsman.
He is survived by his son, Stacy (Tammy) Ball of GA, 3 grandchildren, Hannah, Kyle and
Morgan, his mother, Winnifred Ball of Caro, sisters, Judy (fiance, Robert Hall) Phillips of
Alger, Ariane (Frank) Billot of Snover and Colleen (Ben) DeBolt of Bay City, and the mother
of his children, Ruth Ann Ball. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his two sons,
Sean and Tony Ball. Special thanks to Martinez Retirement Home and Grace hospice for their
wonderful care.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018 at
Novesta Church of Christ, 2896 Cemetery Rd, Cass City. Family and friends may start gathering
at 12 Noon. Memorial service at 1 PM. Brad Speirs will officiate. Inurnment will be in Lakeland
Memorial Gardens, Lakeland, Florida.
