Rozalia Galan

Mrs. Rozalia Galan, age 91, of Decker, MI passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at United Hospice Residence, Marlette, MI.

Rozalia was born August 11, 1916 in Poland the daughter of the late Peter and Tekla (Gomolka) Krawczyk. On November 26, 1955 she married Joseph Galan, he passed away December 5, 1996. Rozalia was a homemaker, she loved gardening, canning and raising chickens.

Rozalia is survived by a nephew, Steven (Josephine) Ziemba of Decker, and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Rozalia was predeceased by a nephew, Leonard (Marilyn) Ziemba.

Visiting is Friday, August 24, 2007 at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City, MI with additional visiting on Saturday, August 25, 2007 from 10 until an 11 AM Mass of Resurrection at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1951 S. Kingston Rd, Wilmot, MI with Fr. Andrzew Boroch as celebrant. A rosary service will be held Friday, August 24, 2007 at 7 PM at the funeral home, lead by Sr. Riccardina Sylvestri. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Wilmot. Memorials may be made to United Hospice of Marlette.
