Sherlock Frederick Obituary
Mr. Sherlock G. "Joe" Frederick, age 78, of Cass City, passed away Thurs., Nov. 24, 2011, at Tendercare Cass City.
He was born Nov. 11, 1933 in Greenleaf Township, the son of the late Albert and Elenora (Seltz) Frederick. He married Teresa Rathburn on Nov. 20, 1954 in Sandusky. Joe served in the U. S. Army, he was a journeyman tool and die maker with General Motors. He was a former Scout leader and enjoyed woodworking, camping, landscaping and was a member of the Turkey Federation. He enjoyed time with family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Teresa, children, Gordon (Nora) Frederick of Cass City, Stephen (Julie) Frederick of Deford, Eric (Sandy) Frederick of Bay City and Lisa (Brian) Knoll of Vassar, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, a brother, Aurey (Carol) Frederick of AZ and a sister, Jeanette (Jessie Bellew) Neu of Flint. He was predeceased by brothers, Melvin, Wesley and Edward Frederick.
Visiting will be Sat., Nov. 26, 2011 from 11 AM until a 2 PM service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Pastor Michael Boyer officiating. Burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
