Shirlee M. Slater

Mrs. Shirlee M. Slater, age 67, of Decker, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at her home. 

Shirlee was born May 9, 1954 in Colfax Township. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Agnes (Zobel) Wroubel. On August 19, 1995 she married Thomas Slater in Shabbona. She worked at Grupo-Antolin in Marlette and liked fishing and basically anything outdoors.

Shirlee is survived by her loving husband, Thomas, brothers and sisters, Ron (Bette)Wroubel of FL, Floyd (the late Linda) Wroubel of Ubly, Joyce (Bill) Juhasz of Cass City and Elaine Barker of FL and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Harold Wroubel and Jerry Wroubel.

Visitation will be Friday, November 12, 2021 from 5 until 7 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Funeral service will begin at 7 PM. Honoring Shirlee’s wishes, cremation will take place at Sunset Valley Crematory, Bay City.
