Shirley Ann DuRussell

Mrs. Shirley Ann DuRussell, age 59, of Caro, MI passed away Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Covenant Cooper Health Care, Saginaw, MI.

Shirley was born October 4, 1945 in Marlette, MI the daughter of the late Russell and Theresa (Yoe) Giddings. On July 23, 1966 she married Edward DuRussell in Ellington Township, MI. She worked for Fisher convalescent Home in Mayville, MI as a nurses' aide, was past president of the Caro Elks, member of Caro Assembly of God, a Sunday School Teacher and Missionette leader, did crocheting and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Edward, son, Keven (Carolynda) DuRussell of Caro, grandchildren, Nicole, Rachel, Keven, Jr. Elizabeth, Christopher, Caraleah, Katelyn, Joshua and 10 step and adopted grandchildren, siblings, Don (Thelma) Giddings, Russell Giddings and Ken (Sandy)Giddings, all of Millington,MI,Larry (Alvina) Giddings of Caro and Barb (Tim) Moore of Mt. Morris, MI. She was predeceased by a brother, Johnny.

Visiting is Wednesday, June 1 from 2 until 9 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City, MI and on Thursday, June 2 from 10 until an 11 AM service at Caro Assembly of God, 1543 Van Geisen, Caro, Pastor Arnold Burger officiating. Burial is in East Dayton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
