Steven Douglas Irvine

Mr. Steven Douglas Irvine passed away in his home on Sat., Dec. 14, 2019.

Steve was born Dec. 24, 1953 in Port Huron, the son of the late Wells and Donna (Veen) Irvine.

His father passed away when Steve was 18 years old and he later welcomed, Rubin Hewitt as his stepfather.

He married his wife Cindy Ryan on Oct. 16, 1976. Steve enjoyed his retirement these past few years along

with his many hobbies including fishing, hunting and most of all riding motorcycle with his wife Cindy and friends.

He also enjoyed his time with his grandsons and family. He served in the U.S. Army from 1974-1976, worked at

General Cable of Cass City for 24 years, and Mosquito Abatement for 3 years.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Cindy, his sons, Steven (Bonnie) Irvine of Ubly and Christopher

Irvine of Bay City, a daughter Sandie Irvine of Caro, his grandsons Damion (Heather) Irvine of Minden City,

Jonathan Irvine of Ubly & Cole Irvine of Caro, and a brother, Andrew (Karen) Irvine of Brown City.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather Rubin Hewitt, his sisters, Holly Dinsmoore and Denise Sprague and

father in law Milford Ryan. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place.

The family will have a small memorial service on Thurs., Dec.19, 2019 at the VFW, Post 3644, 4533 Veterans Dr.,

Cass City at 12 noon with a luncheon to follow. Ken MacGillivray will officiate.
