Summer Joy White, age 23, of Cass City, passed away suddenly as the result of a motorcycle accident, Tuesday, September 7, 2010.
She was born August 18, 1987
in Armada, MI, the daughter of Mark White and Darcy (Richards) White. Summer was looking forward to her recent enlistment in the U. S. Marine Corps and spearheading a benefit for the Economic Recovery of Detroit. Summer longed to help turn around Detroit and it's surroundings, to make this a great and beautiful place. Summer Joy is survived by her father, Mark White and her mother, Darcy White, siblings, Matthew (Jeri) White, Jonathan White, Isaac White, Serena
White, Daniel White, Joseph White and Benjamin White, all of Cass City, her grandmother, Sunny Richards of Caro, and her grandfather, Harold White of
Norcross, GA. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Miriam Wolak and grandfather, James Richards.
A memorial service will be held at Shabbona United Methodist Church, 4455 Decker Rd., Decker at 6:30 PM, Friday, September 10, 2010. Burial was in Evergreen Township Cemetery, Evergreen Township. Memorials may be made to the Summer White Memorial Fund at Chemical Bank in Cass City, 989 872-4355.
