Teresa Frederick Obituary
Mrs. Teresa M. Frederick, age 85, of Cass City, passed away, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Northwood Meadows.
She was born December 22, 1936, in Sanilac County, to the late Glen and Minnie (Kelly) Rathburn. Teresa married Sherlock “Joe” Frederick in Sandusky, November 20, 1954. He passed away November 24, 2011. She worked as a nurse’s aide at the Caro Regional Center and the V. A. Hospital in Marion, IN. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, crafting, gardening and traveling. She loved her cats and most of all time with her family.
Teresa is survived by her children, Gordon (Nora) Frederick of Cass City, Stephen (Julie) Frederick of Deford, Eric (Sandy) Frederick of Bay City and Lisa (Brian) Knoll of Vassar,13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and two sisters, Wanda (the late William) McCormick of Port Huron and Bernice (David) Keith of Mio.
Visitation will be Saturday July 9, 2022 from 11 AM until 2 PM, the time of service, at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Chaplain Richard Barriger of Compassus Hospice, Cass City will officiate. Burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
