Thomas “Tom” Neil Tietjens, 62, of Cass City, passed away on Dec. 20, 2025, and entered into his heavenly home.
Born on Jan. 16, 1963, Tom’s life reflected the beauty and complexity of the human journey—shaped by resilience, strength, and a heart that deeply loved his family in the ways he knew how. Though his path included challenges, his life was filled with grace, redemption, and the steadfast love of God. Those who knew Tom will remember his courage, the lessons his life taught, and the reminder that God’s love can be present even in imperfect stories.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Mickey Tietjens and Lynne (Tietjens) Lowman. He is survived by his children, Megan (David) Allen and Dustin Tietjens; his grandchildren, Evette Allen and Evan Allen; and his siblings, Coni (Brent) Hudson, Denis (Brittany) Tietjens, Billy (Shannon) Lowman, Michelle (John) Lowell, Ryan (Amy) Lowman, and Heather (Michael) Crampton, numerous nieces and nephews, along with extended family and loved ones who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Visitation will be held, Tues., Dec. 30, 2025, from 10 AM until an 11 AM service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Burial with military honors will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly on Wed., Dec. 31, 2025 at 10:30 AM.
The family takes comfort in knowing that Tom is now at peace, held in God’s eternal love.
