Thyolus Pugh Obituary
Mr. Thyolus W. Pugh, age 91, of Deford, passed away, Fri., April 3, 2015 at Tendercare Cass City.
Thyolus was born June 6, 1923 in Crossville, TN the son of the late John W. and Rena B. (Miller) Pugh. He married his wife Lola, who preceded him in death, on May 26, 2012. He worked in the timber industry in Tennessee, until coming to Michigan in 1973, he then worked for Caro Products for several years. In his retirement years he did garage sales, the auction in Marlette and loved gardening and hunting.
Thyolus is survived by his step-grandchildren, Albert (Kathy Evans) Pugh of Allegan and Sandra (Al) Ouilette of Posen, step grand daughter-in-law, Elaine Zalut, 7 step great grandchildren and 8 step great, great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to Lola and his parents, he was predeceased by step daughter, Edith and and her husband, John Pugh, step grandson, Rodger Pugh and 6 brothers and sisters.
Visiting will be Mon., April 5, 2015 from 5 until 8 PM and on Tue., April 7, 2015 from 10 until an 11 AM service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Pastor David Cooper officiating.
Burial will be in Novesta Township Cemetery.
