Viola Alice Falbe

Mrs. Viola Alice Falbe, age 83, of Prescott, MI passed away, Saturday, September 23, 2006 at William Beaumont Hospital, Troy, MI.

Viola was born October 7, 1922 in Fruitport, MI, the daughter of the late John and Mabel (Marks) Bunker. On December 21, 1940 she married Elgie Falbe, Jr., who passed away in March of 1969. Viola was a devoted mother and homemaker, and in her earlier years was a very caring and giving companion/aide to the elderly. She was also an avid lover of nature, wildlife and fishing, having moved from the suburbs of Detroit to the Prescott area in 1970 where she could enjoy these activities at her home on Harwood Lake.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Terry (Beth) Falbe, Sr., Sherrie Brereton and Ralph (Maureen) Falbe, grandchildren, Laurie, Lisa, Tami, Terry, Jr. (Amy), and Joe Morgan, step-grandchildren, Kimberly (William) and Daniel (Ericka), great grandchildren, Ronald, Alexis,and Jake Alexander, and step-great grandchildren, Shelby, Cameron and Rylee Beth. She was predeceased by a son, William (Annette) Falbe. Visiting is Tuesday, September 26 at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, MI from Noon until 1 PM, with burial to follow.
