Violet Connolly Obituary
Mrs. Violet Mae Connolly, age 83, of Deford, passed away Sun., Nov. 12, 2023, at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro.
She was born May 21, 1940, in Deford, daughter of the late Frederick and Belva (Hearonemus) Pratt. Violet married James Connolly, Aug. 24, 1957, in Bad Axe. He passed away, Nov. 24, 2012. She was a homemaker. She liked to travel up north for the Fall colors, play cards with friends, loved her grandchildren and was a very loving person who loved helping people whenever she could.
Violet is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Connolly, grandchildren, Deana (William) Dhooghe, Erica (Brandon) Woolner and Wayne Joseph (Ashley) Connolly, great grandchildren, Justin, Collin, Liam, Autumn and Abigail and a sister, Marilyn Chapdelaine. She was predeceased by her sons, Wayne Connolly, Wesley Connolly and Walter Connolly, brothers, Jim Pratt and Harvey Pratt and a sister, Judy Rhodes.
Honoring Violet’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A commital service will take place Mon., Oct. 7, 2024 in Novesta Township Cemetery. Brad Speirs will officiate.
Memorials, in honor of Violet, may be given to her family.
