Wannetta Plonta

Mrs. Wannetta Plonta, age 91, of Gagetown, passed away on Tues., May 14, 2019 at Medilodge of Cass City. She was born Feb. 6, 1928 daughter of the late Orville and Jessica (Hamblin) Westfall, in Flint. Wannetta married Duane Plonta in Florida on Oct. 12, 1972. She and Duane served the Lord doing missionary work through their radio station - WCTP, their Christian Park – Noah’s Ark, and their church, Farver Road Baptist Church. Wannetta is survived by her husband, Duane, her son, David (Jan) Cole of Gagetown, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, a brother, Orville and a sister, Naomi. She was predeceased by two sons, Michael R. (Mary) Cole and Dean Cole. Visitation will be Thurs., May 16, from 6 until 8 PM at the Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City and on Fri., May 17, from 10 AM until 12 noon at Farver Road Baptist Church, 4330 Farver Rd., Gagetown, after a short break, gather again at 12:30 PM until the start of the funeral service at 1 PM. Burial is in Grant Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Stroke Foundation.org.
