Wilber "Wil" Craig Obituary

Mr. Wilber “Wil” L. Craig, age 86, of Gagetown, died peacefully at Huron County Medical Care Facility, Bad Axe on Dec. 15, 2023.

He was born Dec. 2, 1937, in Caro, to the late Lee and Beulah (Ireland) Craig. On Oct. 23, 2001 he married Sandra Hawley in Hudson, FL. Wil served in the US Army and worked at General Motors Corporation – Flint Assembly as a Supervisor, he loved gardening and was a faithful Baptist, being a member of First Baptist Church of Cass City. He loved time with his grandkids telling them stories of his life.

Wil is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Sandra, sons, Randy (Robin) Craig of Clio, Rodney Craig of Millington, Frank Hawley of Cass City and Mark (Michelle) Hawley of Saginaw, grandchildren, Lee Craig, Nakota Hawley, Myleigh Hawley and Kaitlyn Hawley and great grandson, Issac Craig, two brothers, Ronald (Joyce) Craig of Sandusky and Michael (Evelyn) Craig of FL. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ted Craig and Gerald Craig.

Honoring Wil’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
