William Keith King

Mr. William Keith King, age 85, of Deford, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Tendercare Cass City.

Mr. King was born September 4, 1922 in Kinde, MI the son of the late Lewis and Edna (Musselman) King. On December 13, 1947 he married Helene Creguer. Mr. King served in the US Army as a paratrooper during WWII, and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, he worked at the Hemans Elevator, the Caro State Hospital and farmed near Deford.

Mr. King is survived by his wife, Helene, 2 daughters, Virginia (Robert) Walker of Caro, Janice (Floyd) Holland of Bedford, IN, 4 sons, Mike (Milly) King of Chipley, FL, Alan (Kathy) King and Gary King, both of Deford and Paul (Carla) King of Caro, a brother, Dale (Vernetta) King of Kinde, 2 sisters, Nancy (the late Cliff) Brown of Kinde and Shirley Carroll of CA, 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Bruce King, 2 grandsons, Aaron and Alan Bacon and 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Honoring Mr. King's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 12 noon at VFW Post #3644, Cass City, with Pastor James Duprey officiating and military honors by members of VFW Post #3644.
