Mr. Bill Kolacz, age 76, of Deford, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Tuscola County Medical Care facility, Caro.
He was born February 7, 1936 in Kingston, the son of the late Casper and Pauline (Litivin) Kolacz. He married Joyce House on February 7, 1959 in Pigeon. Bill worked for 37 years for General Cable, retiring as an Extruder Operator in 1998. He served in the U. S. Army and enjoyed fishing, hunting and hobby farming.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Joyce, children, Dianna (John) Dunham of Cass City, Steve (Niah) Kolacz of Sebewaing and Mike (Julie) Kolacz of Deford, brother, John (the late Margie) Kolacz of Bay City, sisters, Sophie (the late Leonard) Beech of FL and Jennie (Walter) Pasternak of Warren, grandchildren, Andy, Erica, Sammy and NovaLee and great grandchildren, Morgan and Aaiden, and sister in law Marge Kolacz of Westland. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Tony and his wife Honey Kolacz and Joe Kolacz. Visiting is Friday, May 4, 2012 from 6 until 9 PM and Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 10 until an 11 AM service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Military honors by members of the U. S. Army.
Honoring his wishes cremation will follow at Sunset Valley Crematory, Bay City.
