William Mitchell Obituary
William H. "Bill" Mitchell, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 30th in Stanton. He was born on March 1, 1962 in Cass City, Michigan, the son of Hugh & Edna Mae (Hill) Mitchell. Both parents have preceded him in death.
Surviving is his fiancé, Karla Berry of Stanton, one brother, Robert Mitchell of Ubly, Michigan and a nephew, Brock & Cassandra McLellan of Bad Axe, Michigan and their children, Cameron, Victor and Anthony.
Bill has been a longtime resident of the Stanton and Sheridan area where he owned and operated William Mitchell Trucking. He enjoyed outdoor activities including racing and hunting.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 beginning with visitation at 10 AM and funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Cass City, Michigan with Pastor David Hill and Rev. John Wood officiating. Interment will be at the Novesta Township Cemetery, Cass City.
Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. at the Simpson Family Funeral Home, Sheridan and then on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Thabet Funeral Home, Cass City, Michigan.
