Ellen Krebs

Ellen Krebs, age 67, of Cass City, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019 after a long battle with kidney disease. She was born on September 23, 1951 in Cass City, daughter of the late Ted and Marilyn (Loney) Morgan. She was a loving mother of three and proud grandmother of six. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, especially attending her grandchildren’s school plays and events, and was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Cass City.

She graduated from Cass City High School in 1969, and was a member of the National Honor Society. She went on to become a Registered Nurse through the Bronson School of Nursing in Kalamazoo, and after many years of practicing nursing, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from Davenport University in 2004, graduating first in her class. She remained a dedicated RN until her retirement in 2013.

Ellen is survived by her daughters Susan (Marion) Lee of Caledonia, MI, Carolyn O’Hara of Birmingham, MI, and Kristen (Steve) Noaker of Gagetown, MI, grandchildren, Morgan, Lillian, Ellen, Zoey, Hunter, and Karson, brother, James Morgan of Decatur, TX, niece, Delynn Morgan, and aunts, Nancy Vernon and Linda Morgan. She is preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Morgan, and several aunts and uncles.

Visiting will be Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 2 PM until 8 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main Street, Cass City and Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 6420 Houghton Street, Cass City, from 10 AM until an 11 AM service with Pastor Christian Wright officiating. Burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Cass City.
